Principal Point, Wellington, Telford

With Principal Point located just North of the Telford area, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to transport. Telford Town Centre is easily accessible, travelling by car is the quickest way into Telford, you’ll arrive in just 10 minutes and upon arrival there’s a choice of 3 car parks. If you fancy getting out and about for the day, Wolverhampton, Birmingham and Wrexham are all within an hour of Principal Point.

You’ll find a handful of bus stops and bus routes over on Bridge Road which will get you into Telford Town Centre in just 23 minutes.

Wellington Train Station is close by, you can reach it in 15 minutes on foot or 8 minutes in the car. The station is on some fantastic routes, with direct routes to Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Birmingham – both of which are great gateways to regular travel across the UK. Residents can even travel on a direct train to the picturesque Holyhead in Wales!

For those who catch the travel bug, Birmingham Airport is the closest to Principal Point. You can easily reach the airport in just under an hour where you’ll find flights to over 150 destinations.

Perfectly positioned in some great catchment areas, residents at Principal Point are spoilt for choice when it comes to Primary and Secondary schools in the local area. Within a mile radius of the development, you have 4 primary schools to choose from, with St Patrick’s Catholic School being the closest at just 0.33 miles away. Slightly further afield you have the choice of Wrekin View Primary School (0.4miles), The Old Hall School (0.54miles) and Dothill Primary School (0.69miles) – all of which provide fantastic learning facilities for all children between the ages of 3 and 11.

Charlton School is the closest of secondary schools and boasts a consistent record of high standards. Wrekin College (0.84miles), Ercall Wood Academy (0.89miles) and The Bridge at HLC (1.82miles) are some other fantastic options in the local area, all of which offer great extracurricular opportunities to develop the students to the highest level in areas such as business, sports and music.

The popular Wellington Indoor Market was established in 1244 and has been running ever since! There’s over 120 shopping units to choose from, you’ll work up quite the appetite, but not to worry as there’s plenty of cafes and delis all under one roof.

Within a mile of Principal Point, you can pay Morrisons, ALDI, Tesco Express, Heron Foods and Wilkos a visit for all your grocery and household needs. If you can’t find what you’re looking for locally, take a trip to Telford Shopping Centre (15-minute drive) where you’ll find a great mix of high street favourites, department stores and plenty of food and drink outlets to choose from.
