We’re pleased to announce our plans to build more than 10,000 build-to-rent (BTR) homes by 2025, creating up to 100 new jobs across the UK. Our significant growth plans for the next five years follow a stream of investment announcements and new partnerships with several developers.
Over the last 12 months, we’ve announced partnerships with developers Keon Homes and Lovell Homes, as well as £133m investment from Triple Point (£100m) and ICG Longbow (£33m), with significantly more to follow. This additional funding has boosted our efforts to build more partnerships delivering thousands of high-quality build-to-rent homes for families across the UK.
We will expand our support further for regional and national housebuilders, with the aim of securing long-term partnerships over the next five years. This will include support from the initial appraisal of a site, to providing funding for the Private Rental Sector (PRS) element of the scheme, right through to managing the completed development on behalf of investors from a lettings, asset, and estate management perspective.
“Since our launch in 2018, we’ve made fantastic progress thanks to the effort of our team and our partners. We’ve had a stream of collaborations and investments that have enabled us to build high-quality BTR properties for people and families right across the UK.
“Having attracted significant investment, our focus now is on delivering our exciting plans to grow the business in a market that has so much potential. As part of this we are expanding the support we provide to our partners, so that we can use our knowledge and expertise to help them through every stage of a successful scheme.”
Our team has continued to drive our vision to build thousands of high-quality BTR properties that raise standards in the sector over the last 12 months. We are currently working with 10 developers across the UK and have developments in Mansfield, Birkenhead, Coventry, and Telford.
Andy adds: “The key aim is to deliver on the potential that we have realised to build 10,000 homes and partner with a number of key regional and national developers by the year 2025. This will create up to 100 new roles, in everything from estate management to marketing. From what the team has achieved so far, it’s a target we are more than capable of hitting.”
