- First residents welcomed to their new Mansfield homes at Bath Lane
We have recently welcomed the first residents to our brand new Indigo Court, Bath Lane development in Mansfield, a collection of 36 one and two-bedroom apartments. Having collected their keys and welcome boxes, they are now busy moving in and making themselves at home. 95% of residents moved in within four days of the first available move-in date, and it is expected that everyone will be settled into their homes by the end of October 2022. To help make residents feel welcome, we gifted them each with a box of goodies to enjoy, which included home essentials such as tea, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. We also provided a handy skip on site to assist with clean up and removal of bulky packaging and waste during moving in. Very soon the new Indigo Court community will begin to enjoy the full Wise Living offering, which includes regular events designed to forge relationships between the residents. The first of which will be a welcome party later in the year. Our Head of Customer Experience, said: “It’s fantastic to see our first residents moving into their new homes, and a real milestone in the growth of Wise Living. Appetite for quality, private rental in the region is high, so we are delighted to be able to bring homes like this to the market that prioritise the tenant experience.“Bath Lane has so much to offer, and its popularity was clear to see from the outset as we received a large volume of interest very early on. We hope that the residents now enjoy their new homes, and we look forward to looking after them for many years to come.” The Great Central Road and Bath Lane sites take Wise Living’s total properties in Mansfield to 162, following the hugely successful launch of The Old Brewery.
- BUILDING COMMUNITY ONE SLICE AT A TIME: A LOOK BACK AT OUR 2025 PIZZA EVENTS
This year, our tenant pizza events proved to be one of the simplest and most effective ways to bring residents together. Across all locations, we saw an average 50% attendance rate, which shows just how much people value opportunities to connect with their neighbours. The feedback you shared gave us a clear picture of what worked well, and where we can make future events even better. The overall response was consistently positive. Many tenants appreciated the chance to meet others in the area, enjoy some good food, and speak directly with staff in a relaxed setting. Several tenants also commented that they’d happily attend more events like this, and that they’d never turn down free food! How we aim to improve in the future: Some residents suggested trying different cuisines or adding small extras, like a kids’ activity corner or simple games while people wait for their food. A few events were affected by rain, so having a shelter or cover would make things more comfortable. Extra seating or dedicated areas for games and conversation could help people mingle more easily. The most common suggestion was that you want these gatherings to become a more regular part of community life. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and it’s already shaping how we plan our next round of community events. Whether it’s more frequent gatherings, new activities, or a few practical tweaks, we’re committed to building on what worked and making future events even better. We’re pleased to announce we will be delivering 48 new quality rental apartments at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. The build programme is well progressed and we expect to take handover of the first 16 Apartments later this month. Once construction is complete this site will provide a total of 97 homes consisting on two, three and four bedroom houses and one and two bedroom apartments. We’re pleased to announce we will be delivering 73 new quality rental properties off Fitzalan Road, Littlehampton, West Sussex. The build programme is already underway at the new Rosemead Garden development with the first 19 homes ready for move in during mid January. Working in partnership with BokLok the homes are contemporary in design and will provide an ideal community for couples and families alike. Construction is set to complete in Autumn 2025 and once finished, will offer 73 two and three bedroom houses. This is our first development in West Sussex and early interest has been strong. The build programme is already underway at the new Higher Trewhiddle development with the first 6 homes ready for move in April 2025. Working in partnership with Wain Homes the homes are contemporary in design and will provide an ideal community for couples and families alike. Construction is set to complete 2026 and once finished, will offer a mix of 34 two, three and four bedroom houses. All of the homes are fitted with solar panels to help with our tenants energy bills! This is our second development in Cornwall and we are already experiencing strong interest with over 50% of the first tranche of properties reserved off plan.
